Thermometers for ASTM Tank Gauging and Woodback Cup Case

Woodback thermometers meet ASTM and API requirements are designed for hand use in testing the temperature of petroleum products and other liquids in storage and transport tanks. The woodback is equipped with a non-sparking brass cup that holds 100 ml of liquid and spring clips to allow for easy replacement of the thermometer. The hardwood is lacquered to prevent absorption from the sample. The thermometers are mercury (Hg) with yellow back and black lettering. All thermometers are made in accordance to ASTM specifications and are available in several temperature ranges ranges. Thermometers are available both with or without the woodback.

L-K Industries opened its newly accredited ISO/IEC 17025 Calibration Laboratory in the summer of 2016 after acquiring Miller & Weber, Inc. Now operating as Miller-Weber of Texas, our highly trained technical staff is manufacturing thermometers and other petroleum glassware, and performing instrument calibrations in-house. Each thermometer is handblown, individually engraved, etched and calibrated for total immersion per NIST and ISO standards. Certification is available upon request, as well as refill thermometers.
